Finnish AOR band Kolorado will release their debut album in May 

Helsinki-based AOR band Kolorado will release their debut album on May 24th 2024! The last single release before the album’s release, “Aika” (“Time” in English) is now released on music services. A music video is also released. The song takes the listener to big stadium sounds and big questions. Lyrics represent the more reflective side of the band’s output.

The song is about the one thing none of us can escape. Where were you when you realised you were halfway through – when you realised there was more life behind you than ahead of you. Time is layered like mountains. Or are seconds, hours, days and years just a surreal human creation after all, like melting numbers and pointers in a painting?

A bright piano theme, crisp guitar waves and drums recorded in a five hundred square meter hall give the theme the expansive soundscape it deserves. Musical inspirations include John Farnham and Bruce Hornsby.
