Fabio Lione, Aterciopelados and Akash to headline Ibagué Ciudad Rock 2024 festival in Colombia
The organisers of the 2024 edition of the Ibagué City Rock International Festival have announced the artists who will be part of the line-up: Fabio Lione, the former singer of Rhapsody Of Fire and Angra, as well as Aterciopelados, an emblematic alternative rock band from Colombia, and Akash, another Colombian band, will be the headliners.
The 23rd edition of the festival will be held on 11, 12 and 13 October 2024 at the Plazoleta del Parque Centenario, Ibagué, Colombia.
With a line-up of 30 bands, the festival will bring together groups from the department of Tolima, as well as national and international bands, in the Plaza del Parque Centenario, an emblematic point of reference for rock in Ibagué. This year’s edition will also be notable for its focus on training and development in the music industry.
In addition to the live performances, the festival will include academic sessions led by experts in the area, who will offer workshops and lectures. These activities aim to strengthen the capacities of emerging artists and provide them with tools for their national and international projection, helping them to grow.
