On June 5, 2026, Evergrey, the masterminds of melancholia from Gothenburg, Sweden, will release their fifteenth album, “Architects Of A New Weave,” through Napalm Records, as per Blabbermouth. This comes just days before the band performs two shows as a special guest for the undisputed heavy metal kings, Iron Maiden, as part of their “Run For Your Lives” world tour. The third single from the album, “Leaving The Emptiness,” has an official music video. The video highlights the song’s distinctive character and features a chorus that breaks through like sunlight shattering storm clouds.
Our new single is a high-energy firecracker that makes you want to jump — we know, because we just played it in Brazil twice and people were more in the air than on the ground. But don’t let the adrenaline fool you. Underneath the surge is something rawer — a song about the moment you stop running from what hurts and finally turn to face it.
