Download Festival 2023 add over 40 new bands

Download Festival has added over 40 new names to its line-up today and has revealed its 2023 day splits.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2023, the festival takes place over four nights for the very first time from Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th June 2023.

Newly confirmed are Alter Bridge, Halestorm, Clutch, Mammoth WVH, Bad Wolves, Five Finger Death Punch, The HU, Epica, Carcass, Avatar, Bob Vylan and Carcass, among others.

Download had previously announced the 2023 event would be headlined by Metallica, Slipknot and Bring Me The Horizon playing two different sets on two different nights. Ghost, Evanescence, Placebo, The Distillers and Architects were also confirmed to be appearing at Donington Park alongside 50 other bands.
