Deathstars: Sweden shows of their European tour postponed

Author Stefanie Nysand - 30.9.2022

The corona pandemic has forced Deathstars to postpone their European tour several times. The latest tour schedule was announced in November 2021. In April 2022, the shows in Russia and Ukraine were removed from the European tour schedule, due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. Now, the masters of death glam have to postpone the shows in their home country Sweden, due to delays in the production of their upcoming 5th studio album:

“Due to delays in the new album production the shows in Stockholm and Gothenburg are rescheduled. The new date for Gothenburg is March 10, and Stockholm March 11 2023. The Malmö show is postponed, a new date will follow. Tickets will be refunded. The band is sorry for the inconvenience this may cause, but hope to see all of you during spring next year.”

The latest postponement means that Deathstars will no longer be playing shows in 2022 and that their entire European tour will now take place in 2023. In August 2022, Deathstars played a gig at the Sabaton Open Air festival in Falun, Sweden. Chaoszine was there for you, and you can read everything about said gig here.
