Massachusetts hardcore veterans Converge have released a new single called “Doom in Bloom”. The track lands as the second single from their upcoming twelfth studio album “Hum of Hurt”, which arrives June 5, 2026 through Epitaph Records and Deathwish Inc.

“Doom in Bloom” follows the previously issued title track “Hum of Hurt”, which dropped April 1, 2026 as the album’s lead single.

“Hum of Hurt” follows February’s “Love Is Not Enough”, which marked the band’s first proper full-length since 2017’s “The Dusk In Us”. Both 2026 records were tracked during the same sessions, with vocalist Jacob Bannon clarifying that the new album is not a sequel. According to Bannon, “Hum of Hurt” leans further into emotional hardcore territory, while “Love Is Not Enough” sits closer to metal.

The album was recorded and mixed by guitarist Kurt Ballou at God City Studio, with Alan Douches handling mastering at West West Side. The lineup also features bassist Nate Newton and drummer Ben Koller. Cover art comes from Bannon and UK artist Thomas Hooper.

“Doom in Bloom” is streaming now on Spotify and other digital platforms.
