Chaoszine has just started a new series on YouTube, where we’ll visit band’s HQs, rehearsal place, studios, bars and venues. The idea of the whole thing is to take a look at places where magic happens, hardly shown in this level of detail to fans via social media.
The first band we had the pleasure of visiting is the “secret location” where the alternative rock/metal band Flat Earth spent their time playing and developing music.
Featuring some of the most well-known musicians on the Finnish scene, the quartet features singer Anthony Pikkarainen (Polanski), Niclas Etelävuori, (ex-Amorphis), Linde Lindström (ex-HIM) and drummer Gas Lipstick (ex-HIM). , who just split from his bandmates a few weeks after our recording.
If you want to see how the musicians found a place to rehearse, guess what they have in their cases, or take a closer look through the gear they’re using, here’s the episode!
Let Anthony be your tour guide and enjoy his funny explanations about every corner of the place and the gems hidden inside some boxes, as well as walking through the classic pedalboards of Linde and Niclas.
Flat Earth released their debut called “None for One” in 2018. The band makes a mix of metal and alternative rock, and it is more than ready to release their second album at some point of this year, which has unfortunately been delayed a few times because of the world situation.
If you’re in Finland, Flat Earth will play Helsinki on April 16th at Tiivistämö with Spiritraiser and Nothing But Sunshine. They will play with a new drummer who will replace Gas since his departure.
