Blind Channel: Two Finland shows cancelled, three will go ahead as planned

Author Stefanie Nysand - 1.12.2022

At the moment, there are a lot of exciting news from the Blind Channel camp. In March 2023, Blind Channel will support the American Grammy-nominated rock band I Prevail on their tour through Europe and the UK. Furthermore, in May 2023, Blind Channel will be the warm-up act for the Italian gothic metallers Lacuna Coil when the latter is touring the West Coast of the United States. Meanwhile, in their home country Finland, there are some setbacks for Blind Channel and their fans: Since RH Entertainment, one of Finland’s biggest event organisers, had filed for bankruptcy on 10 November 2022, it was uncertain which events organised by RH Entertainment will take place and which ones will not. All Blind Channel shows planned for this year in Finland – including their big show at the Helsinki Ice Hall – were also affected. Now, it is clear which ones will go ahead as planned and which ones will not:

“27.12. Blind Channel The Cruise, 29.12. Helsinki Ice Hall 30.12. Tampere Pakkahuone is happening. 26.12. Kuopio The Circus 31.12. Oulu Tullisali is cancalled and we are deeply sorry about that. To us, cancelling shows is always a last resort and this decision was heartbreaking. You can ask for ticket refunds at rh@krogerus.com. We worked 24/7 for weeks to make these 3 shows happen and we can’t wait to play our very first arena headline ever in Helsinki Ice Hall. We do this stuff for the fans and these 3 shows will be a risk for us so we pray for everyone to show up & get tickets asap. All remaining tickets are valid for the shows. Let’s make some history together.”

Their own cruise on 27 December 2022 is not organised by RH Entertainment and was therefore never in danger. Tickets for “Blind Channel – The Cruise” can be ordered via the Finnish travel website “Matkapojat“.
