Los Angeles-based metallers Bad Wolves released their new album “Die About It” on November 3 via Better Noise Music. The group also shared a lyric video for their anthemic new single, “Savior,” a track written about someone being there for you in your time of need. Watch the official music video below.
Bad Wolves deliver 13 tracks of earthquaking heaviness and distinctive melodies on “Die About It” while experimenting and redefining their sound including nods to inspirations as diverse as The 1975 and Meshuggah.
Co-produced with Josh Gilbert (As I Lay Dying) alongside drummer John Boecklin and Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz [lead vocals], Bad Wolves tackles themes of dismissing bullies and trolls, dissolving toxic friendships, and dealing with loss and addiction with unconstraint “Die About It” is available now on digital download, CD, cassette and multiple colour vinyl variants at https://badwolves.ffm.to/dieaboutit..
“From the artwork to the music our new album feels more personal,” says Boecklin. “This album is about us surviving through lawsuits, the member changes, the online hate, and the false narratives. We wanna bring back the energy of us making music because we want to, not all the other crap. The album title is a sarcastic statement towards those debating online in turmoil, defending or pushing their own beliefs to the point of absurdity. If you’re gonna cry about it, then you might as well ‘Die About It.’ Leave us out of it.”
The group’s first official radio single, “Legends Never Die,” is currently in the Top 20 on the Active Rock radio charts and rising. To date, it has garnered over 1 million streams and 344k video views.
The band will hit the road later this Fall with British rock icons Bush on their “Nothing To Go But Everywhere” North American tour alongside labelmates Eva Under Fire from November 14 to December 6. Bad Wolves have announced a series of headlining shows before and after the tour with support from Eva Under Fire and Uncured. See full dates listed below. Tickets for all upcoming shows are available here.
