US metal band Avenged Sevenfold have been quietly working on their next album. In a new interview with Kerrang! magazine, the band’s frontman M. Shadows said that the band has deliberately avoided talking about new music because their words are often exaggerated. Moreover, Shadows is not sure how to describe the music other than using the words “fast and heavy”.
However, Shadows did offer a bit of info as to when the new album might be released:
“It’s a work of art that we’ve worked on for a long time; we had a bunch of personal things that we’ll explain later… but we’re booking shows for next summer, and the record will be out before then.”
Avenged Sevenfold’s previous album “The Stage” was released in 2016.
