Chilean-born dark metal outfit ATER has shared a new single titled “Sleep“. Watch the official music video below.
The new track from the group led by multi-instrumentalist Fernando Bühring is now available on all digital platforms and on the official Torque Records label channel.
Following the successors “The Fall” and “Venus” (2025), the track serves as a new preview of “Everlasting,” the band’s anticipated third studio album, scheduled for release on January 29, 2027.
Produced by Bühring, mixed by Dan Lancaster (Muse, Blink-182, Bring Me The Horizon), and mastered by Tony Lindgren at Fascination Street Studios (Opeth, Sepultura, Dimmu Borgir, Kreator), the release solidifies a career that already includes more than 110 shows in Europe during 2025 and tours alongside global icons such as Cradle of Filth, Possessed, Venom Inc., and more.
The official music video for “Sleep” was produced by Nicolás Vergara under the direction of Vincent Zbinden, and the result is available on YouTube, adding to an official channel that already boasts over 700,000 cumulative views from listeners in Sydney, Stockholm, Chicago, and Melbourne.
Since 2018, ATER has solidified a sonic identity characterized by the fusion of extreme metal’s aggressiveness and dark rock’s atmosphere. With the bass taking a prominent role in the tonal structures and a narrative centered on contemporary gothic romanticism, “Sleep” showcases the band’s most mature and conceptual facet.
