The Brazilian power-prog band Angra recently saw the release of its 10th album, “Cycles of Pain” (via Atomic Fire Records).
In these 30 years since the debut “Angels Cry,” which in its time made Power Metal fans dream because of a perfect dosage between the style itself and classical influences, “Cycles Of Pain” instead outlines a clear transition to a more Progressive style, with a newfound identity thanks to Fabio Lione.
DragonhammeR will be the direct support for AngrA’s 3 Italian dates.
The Roman band is currently working on their next album, while their last work: “Second Life” has been very well received, especially during various summer festivals (such as Rock Castle in Czech Republic last August).
The second support will be Great Master. The band, originally from beautiful Venice, recently released their latest work, “Montecristo” (via UNDERGROUND SYMPHONY RECORDS)
