Norwegian prog/power band Conception played a special show in their hometown Gjøvik. The gig had old and new classics + acoustic set. It was also the beginning of the European tour, promoting the album “State of Deception”.
The group has been very active since their return in 2018. Lately they have re-released the 90s back catalogue, a deluxe edition of the latest studio album and a special box with a retrospective book.
Chaoszine was there to do a report. We also had a chat with singer Roy Khan and guitarist Tore Østby. The musicians commented on how special the show was, the releases during last years and the importance of friendship in the band.
“It’s a great way for us to always come here and warm up to have an intimate concert like this, a good experience.”Tore Østby
“With the history that we (band) have, we all know each other’s strengths and weaknesses to work our way.”Roy Khan
