Airbnb host refused to host metal fan – blamed for “aggressive” taste in music
A metal fan living in Bristol, England, tried to book accommodation through the popular Airbnb app. Everything seemed to be going as expected, but then the host of the potential accommodation found out that the person was a fan of metal music.
The applicant’s accommodation was cancelled because the host didn’t like his taste in music. The taste in music was described as “aggressive, sub-stylish and disturbing”.
This was reported on social media by the metal band Death Blooms, who were a particular favorite of the person who had applied for the accommodation.
