According to José Roberto Flesch, a respected Brazilian journalist, AC/DC is in talks to play Rock in Rio festival in its 2024 edition, to take place in September in Rio De Janeiro.
Flesch posted on his social media on October 18 that AC/DC have been in contact with the promoters of Rock in Rio festival about being featured on the 40th-anniversary edition of the event.
AC/DC was part of the very first edition of Rock in Rio in 1985, which also featured Queen, Iron Maiden, Ozzy Osbourne, Whitesnake, Nina Hagen and Yes, among others.

AC/DC was one of the main attractions of the first Rock in Rio, in 1985.
The band has returned to the stage with a concert early this month, at Power Trip festival in the USA.
