The American heavy metal group Lamb of God is based in Richmond, Virginia. The band, which was founded in 1994 under the name Burn the Priest, is made up of drummer Art Cruz, guitarists Mark Morton and Willie Adler, bassist John Campbell, and singer Randy Blythe. The group is regarded as an important part of the recent American heavy metal scene. Lamb of God has put out twelve studio albums since their founding, two of which were released under the moniker Burn the Priest. Their most recent album, “Into Oblivion”, was released in March 2026. In addition, the band has released 28 singles, three DVDs, two EPs, one live album, and one compilation album.
