SUMMER BREEZE Open Air 2025 is now history – the organisers look back on an unforgettable festival. With bright sunshine, dancing dust and a short, refreshing rain shower on Friday, the organisers recorded around 200,000 visits from metal fans from all over the world to the festival site in Dinkelsbühl.

Your energy, your joy and your stamina made the festival grounds shake. It is precisely this atmosphere that makes you the best fans anyone could wish for. Founder and managing director Achim Ostertag.

Despite challenging weeks of preparation marked by rain, the SUMMER BREEZE crew was able to complete the festival grounds on time and with great dedication. In addition to a top-class line-up, numerous innovations awaited visitors this year: these included a newly opened pop-up store in Dinkelsbühl’s old town, which offered numerous interested people the opportunity to shop and immerse themselves in the SUMMER BREEZE world throughout the festival.

The smooth arrival, the clean camping areas and the overwhelming commitment of the fans once again underlined the special culture and community of the festival.

You are the true heart of SUMMER BREEZE! Your warmth, helpfulness and enthusiasm make our festival a home for tens of thousands of people. Managing director Jonas Medinger

With its successful waste prevention concept “Less Trash More Thrash,” the festival has set standards in recent years and achieved impressive results.

Special thanks also go to all the musicians, technicians, crews, security teams, vendors, press partners, sponsors and presenters. Without them, SUMMER BREEZE would not be possible. The rescue and security forces deployed were very satisfied with the course of the event. Apart from heat-related incidents, there were no notable incidents.

The 2025 festival year ends with a wistful but proud look back. A promising outlook for 2026 is already in place. With the announcement of 50 bands for the coming year, everything is ready for ticket sales to start next Monday. Fans are eagerly awaiting the chance to snap up one of the limited “Early Bird Tickets” for only £199.99.
