“We wanted to be a little bit faster again” – Interview with Korpiklaani

Finnish folk metal superstars Korpiklaani will be releasing their next album “Rankarumpu” on April 5th via Nuclear Blast Records. The band’s twelfth studio album is once again full of tasty folk metal and its different flavors, but it also offers new spices. Perhaps the ancient gods of joyful music have decided to bless their own sons with some new miraculous extracts?

The band’s vocalist Jonne Järvelä and drummer Samuli Mikkonen visited Chaoszine’s headquarters in Helsinki, Finland and we discussed a bit about the upcoming album as well as what lies ahead for the band. You can check out the entire video interview in full below:
