“We are at our best when it’s a do-or-die situation” – Interview with Moon Shot about the new album “Thunderlust”, Germany and visual identity

The world was still living a strange moment when the Finnish rock band Moon Shot released their first song in late 2020, but as the planet seemed to lack any prospect of better days, the quartet emerged with some kind of antidote bringing a powerful shot of musical energy, and over the last six years, they have been increasing the dose more and more.

The group, formed by the talented musicians Ville Malja (ex-Lapko) on vocals, Jussi Ylikoski (ex-Disco Ensemble) on guitar, Henkka Seppälä (Children of Bodom) on bass, and Mikko Hakila (ex-Disco Ensemble) on drums, has already built a solid fan base across many countries, toured Europe a few times, and released enough material to establish a consistent discography. The new chapter of their music’s story, the album Thunderlust, was just released via Reaper Entertainment. There isn’t much to say in words, as Moon Shot‘s music needs to be experienced, preferably live and with an open heart.
