Wage War share title track “Landfall” from upcoming album

Florida metalcore band Wage War are dropping a new album called “Landfall” next month, and have now released the title track. The record arrives on October 9 via Fearless Records.

According to the band, the title track deals with imminent danger and the feeling of not being in control. Wage War point to their Florida roots, so the hurricane imagery became a way to capture that sense of being at the mercy of something bigger. Musically, they wanted the verses to feel heavy and threatening, while the chorus stays sombre and inevitable.

“Landfall” follows earlier singles “Sweet Dreams”, “Blindfold” and “Songs Of The Swamp”.
