Multi-platinum alternative metal band Avenged Sevenfold invited ‘America’s Got Talent‘ winner Nene Royal to perform with them on stage on October 13th. The 16-year-old Royal, who has expressed her admiration for Avenged Sevenfold as her favorite band, joined them as a guest vocalist and guitarist during their performance of the song “Bat Country” at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore. Following this, she remained with the band to perform another popular track, “Unholy Confessions,” with fan-filmed footage available.
Royal’s inclusion in the concert lineup was announced late last month, shortly after her victory in the 21st season of the talent competition. Throughout her participation on AGT, Royal demonstrated impressive rock and metal skills, performing alongside established artists such as Linkin Park and The Warning during the finale. Prior to her guest appearance, Royal’s opening set featured covers of songs by Muse, Soundgarden, Rage Against The Machine, System Of A Down, and The Cranberries.

The American heavy metal band Avenged Sevenfold, often known as A7X, was founded in 1999 and is based in Huntington Beach, California. Vocalist M. Shadows, guitarists Zacky Vengeance and Synyster Gates, bassist Johnny Christ, and drummer Brooks Wackerman make up the band’s current lineup.
Avenged Sevenfold is renowned for their stunning visuals on album covers and merchandise, as well as their varied rock style. The band’s first album, “Sounding the Seventh Trumpet”, gave them a metalcore sound, which they mostly maintained in their second album, “Waking the Fallen”. By their third album and first major label release, “City of Evil”, the band had developed a more conventional heavy metal sound. Before Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan, the band’s original drummer, passed away in 2009, they continued to experiment with new sounds with their self-titled album and experienced ongoing mainstream success.
