On Saturday, June 15, in Donington Park in Donington, United Kingdom, Asinhell, the new death metal band featuring Michael Poulsen of Volbeat, Marc Grewe (Insidious Disease, ex-Morgoth), and Morten Toft Hansen (Raunchy), took the “Opus” stage at this year’s Download festival. Below is a fan-filmed footage of the show. On May 30, Asinhell performed live for the first time in Pumphuset in Copenhagen, Denmark. The first stop of Asinhell’s European tour in support of their debut album, “Impii Hora,” which was released by Metal Blade in September, was Pumphuset. Intimate club performances and festivals are also part of the journey. With the exception of Zurich, where the band was backed by New Zealand heavyweight Alien Weaponry, and Copenhagen, where Sickomania started the event, Endseeker is the support act for all headline shows.

Flamming C. Lund of The Arcane Order on lead guitar and renowned Danish producer Jacob Hansen (ex-Invocator) on bass will be traveling with Asinhell. This will be the same lineup that saw action on “Impii Hora” live.
