Vocalist and guitarist Michael Poulsen has led the Danish rock & roll group Volbeat for 25 years, releasing nine full-length albums, selling millions of copies, and packing stadiums throughout the globe, as per Blabbermouth. But before leading Volbeat, Poulsen founded the death metal group Dominus, which in the mid-1990s put out four vicious, fast-paced albums. All four of Dominus’s full-length albums, “View To The Dim” (1994), “The First 9” (1996), “Vol. Beat” (1997), and “Godfallos” (2000), will now be available on vinyl for the first time ever. Be quick because there are only 500 copies and 30 signed test pressings available worldwide for each. All four of the albums have restored artwork and have been remastered for vinyl.

Volbeat.dk will release LPs and test pressings on September 4 at 3 p.m. CET/9 a.m. EDT. On the same day, your preferred local record store will also carry them. All four albums are currently accessible on streaming music providers, and Dominus t-shirts can be purchased on Volbeat.dk.

Poulsen composed a number of death metal riffs for Volbeat’s 2021 album “Servant Of The Mind” and stored them on his phone. After finishing the Volbeat record, he unlocked the rusty gates to Armageddon and began writing songs for his new death metal band Asinhell. Metal Blade released their debut album, “Impii Hora” (Latin for “Ungodly Hour”), in September 2023.

The Danish rock group Volbeat was founded in Copenhagen in 2001. They perform a combination of heavy metal and rock and roll. Lead singer and guitarist Michael Poulsen, drummer Jon Larsen, bassist Kaspar Boye Larsen, and guitarist Flemming C. Lund make up their current lineup. Currently signed to the Dutch company Mascot Records, the band has put out one DVD and nine studio albums. 2005 saw the release of Volbeat‘s first studio album, “The Strength/The Sound/The Songs.” “Rock the Rebel/Metal the Devil” (2007), the band’s second album, was certified platinum. Their third album, “Guitar Gangsters & Cadillac Blood” (2008), reached the top of the Danish album chart, while their 2010 album “Beyond Hell/Above Heaven” received high praise from critics worldwide.
