Van Der Dijs, a Caracas, Venezuela native, combines theatre, distortion, and social criticism to inspire moshes around the country. Fortunately, you can attend the celebration without a passport. Tracing the band’s development since their debut single, “DMT,” in 2023 is incredible. By then, the band was firmly rooted in the hip-hop genre, with female vocals and infectious synth beats. A year later, ‘NEMESIS‘ displayed a very charmingly brutal pixel graphic style and a darker trap tendency in their visualisers. The true meat and potatoes, however, emerged with their 2025 releases, “DÓNDE ESTÁN“, “VENPAKA,” and “VENDETTA,” each of which hit your face like the cover of Pantera‘s “Vulgar Display of Power.”
