Tuska Festival 2026 adds Amorphis, Tarot, Skindred and more – massive new wave of artists confirmed for Helsinki

Finland’s biggest metal gathering Tuska Festival has unveiled a strong batch of new artists for its 2026 edition. The festival will once again take over Suvilahti in Helsinki on June 26–28, 2026, and the latest announcements further cement Tuska’s reputation as one of Europe’s most diverse and forward-thinking heavy music events.

Among the newly confirmed acts are Finnish metal pillars Amorphis and Tarot, Welsh ragga metal powerhouse Skindred, and a wide range of modern and genre-bending names including Awake Again, Omnivortex, Nenerchy and Italy’s Lunarsea.

Tuska also continues supporting emerging talent through its Tuska KVLT community program, adding eight up-and-coming bands to next summer’s lineup.

Friday brings ragga metal and modern heaviness

Friday’s program gets an explosive boost from Skindred, known for their high-energy fusion of metal, reggae, punk, hip hop and electronic elements. Finland’s Awake Again blends post-hardcore with pop sensibilities, while Nenerchy crosses boundaries between rap, rock and drum’n’bass. Lunarsea add a touch of progressive melodic death metal to the day’s mix.

Saturday dives into the underground

Saturday welcomes Omnivortex, one of Helsinki’s most promising extreme metal exports, combining technical death metal precision with black metal darkness.

Sunday highlights Finnish metal royalty

Sunday will feature two true cornerstones of Finnish heavy music. Amorphis arrive riding high on their acclaimed latest album “Borderland”, while Tarot celebrate the 40th anniversary of their classic debut “The Spell of Iron”, a landmark release in the history of Finnish metal.

Tuska’s festival director Eeka Mäkynen comments:

“It’s amazing that we can present such a strong lineup for next summer in Suvilahti. The fans clearly agree, as ticket sales are currently moving at a record pace. We’re tuning the entire area to optimal settings to welcome everyone in.”

Tuska KVLT bands 2026

The Tuska KVLT program has confirmed the following rising acts for the festival: Ashes of Perishing, JellyDixx, Scythe of Sorrow, Despiser, Dying Reverie, Shere Khan, NITRIK and Suicide Chain.
