Tuska Festival, set to take place in Suvilahti, Helsinki on June 26–28, 2026, has unveiled another impressive wave of artists for next summer. Strengthening an already massive lineup is none other than Megadeth, one of thrash metal’s legendary Big Four acts.

Formed in 1983 by guitarist and vocalist Dave Mustaine, Megadeth helped shape the very core of thrash metal with classic albums like “Rust in Peace”, “Countdown to Extinction”, and “Peace Sells… but Who’s Buying?” – all of which continue to influence metal generations later. With millions of records sold worldwide and countless tours under their belt, the band remains one of the genre’s most iconic forces. Their Tuska performance will form part of their upcoming farewell tour, coinciding with the release of their self-titled final album in 2026.

Other new names on the bill include American heavyweights Trivium, nu-metal pioneers P.O.D., and Finland’s own powerhouse Stam1na. Fans can also look forward to the return of Lost Society, Swiss deathcore machine Paleface Swiss, rising Los Angeles outfit Return To Dust, Kansas City’s electronicore trio The Browning, and the mysterious metal collective Dogma.

The diverse lineup continues with German funk-infused act Slope, Danish newcomers 802, progressive Swedish metalcore band Allt, Finnish atmospheric metalcore group Atlas, and extreme metallers Kneel Before The Death.

Tuska has also revealed which days each artist will perform, with detailed timetables coming closer to the event.
