Turmion Kätilöt release second single “Lunastakaa” from upcoming album “Resodance”

Finnish industrial metal veterans Turmion Kätilöt return with the second single “Lunastakaa” from their upcoming twelfth studio album “Resodance.” The band dropped the track alongside a music video, and the full record arrives globally on October 23, 2026, via Nuclear Blast Records.

The single follows the album’s first track, “Raivotarjonta.” Formed in 2003, the band has built its reputation on fusing industrial metal with danceable electronic beats, and it has earned gold records along with chart-topping releases across Finland. Mikko Tegelman produced “Resodance” together with the group.

RunQ, who composed the song, explains that many demos usually wait for the right moment before release. However, with this track he immediately sensed it would not sit on the waiting list for long.

Vocalist Shag-U adds that the lyrics grew out of news stories about the abuse of power and exploitation. Furthermore, he points to the questions the song raises about how deeply a person can be broken and whether justice or compensation is ever possible. He also notes a self-ironic reading, where artists turn themselves into commodities in exchange for money, visibility, or approval.

The band then celebrates the release with its Colossal Disco event at Helsinki Ice Hall on October 24, 2026, one day after the album drops.
