Trivium release and make fun of the music video for “Dying In Your Arms”

Approximately 20 years after its filming, Trivium has released their music video for “Dying In Your Arms.” Yesterday’s release falls in line with the anniversary and celebratory tour for their 2005 album “Ascendancy.” In addition to releasing the music video, the band has simultaneously released a commentary on their true thoughts about how they feel about the video. Vocalist/gutairist Matt Heafy comments:

“We did a video for “Dying In Your Arms” about 20 years ago, and the video ended up so bad that our manager said, ‘we need to pull this video or your band…’ Someone said you should pull this video, because this video is not good. But now, 20 years later, we’re like, ‘We should watch this. We should show everyone what this is and see how we feel about it.’ Because I haven’t seen this video in 20 years.”
