Tribulation to support Watain at Dalhalla

It has been known for some time that the Swedish black metallers Watain will play a show at the open air theatre Dalhalla on 31 August 2024. Now, the support act has been announced and it is none other than the Swedish death metal band Tribulation:

“The darkest night at summer’s end! We’re joining our old friends in @watainofficial at Dalhalla in August! Will we see you there?” – Tribulation

Dalhalla is located in a former limestone quarry in Rättvik (Sweden), in the region of Dalarna, and it is regularly represented in lists such as “The most beautiful concert venues from around the world”. Tickets and further information can be found here. It should be noted, though, that there is a “total ban on bags” at the venue, due to the increased risk of terror attacks in Sweden:

“There is a total bag ban at all major events in Sweden. The ban applies to all Dalhalla events until further notice. The bag ban applies to all types of bags, regardless of size, including handbags, cloth bags, and plastic bags. Exceptions can only be made for medical reasons. We want to inform you that the arena does not have any storage facilities for belongings. It is also not possible to leave bags on the bus if you have traveled with the Concert Bus or Restaurant Bus to Dalhalla.” – Dalhalla

Furthermore, Dalhalla does not accept any cash payments:

“The arena is cashfree, you can pay with a card.” – Dalhalla

Dalhalla can be reached by car or by booking one of Dalhalla’s concert buses.
