Tony McCarroll, the original drummer of Oasis, suffered a heart attack: “I’m not quite out of the woods as yet”

Tony McCarroll, the original drummer of British rock band Oasis, has suffered a heart attack. McCarroll has posted the news on social media.

“Wanted to let you know I was admitted to hospital on Thursday after suffering a heart attack on Wednesday night. I’m not quite out of the woods as yet but just want to give a massive big up to our #NHS We are more than fortunate to have such a service! Thank you!!” “

McCarroll co-founded Oasis with Liam Gallagher, Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs and Paul McGuigan. He played on the band’s debut album “Definitely Maybe”. McCarroll was fired from the band before the release of the second album “(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?” (after the release of “The Glory”).
