Tons Of Rock: Norway’s biggest rock and metal festival announce more bands

Following a record breaking sold out 2022 festival, which comfortably positioned Tons of Rock as the biggest festival of its kind in Norway, the expectations for next year’s lineup has been huge. This week, Tons of Rock exceeded expectations by announcing some of next year’s headliners, including GhostPantera and Nightwish

Confirmed artists are: Ghost, Pantera, Nightwish, Gojira, Behemoth, Wardruna, Clutch, TNT, Powerwolf, Mayhem, HammerFall, Stage Dolls, Honningbarna, The Good The Bad and The Zugly, Avatar, Spiritbox, Voivod, Aura Noir, brenn. 

In booking manager, Jarle Kvåle’s words:

“Legends, idols and headliners for generations of rock fans! The expectations were higher than ever after this summer, and we had to outdo ourselves. The first batch for next year is filled with favourites. Pantera at Tons of Rock in Oslo is a dream we barely dared believe in. It feels great to be at it again, and we promise this is just the beginning, and that 2023 will be another one for the books.”

With more than 80,000 eager rock fans from all over the world coming to Tons of Rock this summer, the festival had its biggest year ever, after two years of cancellations. 
2023 is already shaping up to be taking the festival to new heights.
