Niklas Kvarforth, the founder and frontman of Swedish black metal band Shining recently underwent a lengthy treatment for an acute case of severe PTSD at a private facility up in the north of Finland. Upon his return home, just a mere couple of weeks before the world-wide release of Shining’s eleventh studio album, the 39-year old Swede dives right back into his work, as if nothing has happened.
Fully aware that anyone who watches will see him in an extremely vulnerable state while adjusting to his new medicines, the singer who’s known for being able to upset pretty much everyone in the world tells his story…
