Finnish band Steve ‘N’ Seagulls played the first gig of their 2023 tour, bringing a mix of bluegrass and hard rock to legendary Tavastia in Helsinki. The show took place on Thursday, February 2nd, with a setlist full of their known versions for classics of Metallica, AC/DC, Iron Maiden and more, but also original songs like “Uprising” and “Joey’s Little Baby” from their latest record “Another Miracle”.
Chaoszine was there to do a report, but before the show, we had a chat with Skubu, Jamppa, Herman and Remmel in the backstage. The musicians commented on the extensive tour they had last year, upcoming dates for spring, plans for a season 2 of Seagulls’ Nest and details about the new studio album.
“There’s some new songs, that we’ve been planning and rehearsing already.”
Janne “Jamppa” Tuovinen
“The studio is booked. We just have to worry about the rest (laughs).”Tomi “Remmel” Tajakka
