The Man-Eating Tree unleash lyric video for second single “To the Sinking”

Anticipation is building for the release of The Man-Eating Tree’s upcoming studio album, “Night Verses”, set to be released on April 11, 2025 via Noble Demon. After the band recently unleashed the brand new track “Seer“, their first release in nearly a decade since their last album “In The Absence Of Light”, they are now presenting the second intense piece from their upcoming album. “To the Sinking“, an atmospheric track that further underscores the band’s return. A lyric video accompanies the single and can be viewed here: 

‘To the Sinking’ is a song that explores the borderline between sleep and wakefulness. It captures the beauty of an autumn morning and, conversely, the deepest graves of the sea. ‘To the Sinking’ is the first composition completed for the album, and we want to showcase this aspect of the current TMET sound as well.

With “Night Verses”, The Man-Eating Tree returns with renewed energy and a desire to push the boundaries of their sound. With a lineup featuring former and current members of legendary bands such as Ghost Brigade, Poisonblack, Mors Subita, Entwine, and more, the band is poised to deliver their most powerful and dynamic album yet.
