Finnish metal band The Man-Eating Tree has announced that they are parting ways with drummer Aksu Hanttu in a social media post.
LINEUP UPDATE:
The Man-Eating Tree and Aksu Hanttu have parted ways.
We sincerely thank Aksu for the commitment, effort, and professionalism he brought to the band. In addition to playing drums on Night Verses, he was responsible for recording, producing, and mixing the album, and his work on the record is greatly appreciated.
We wish Aksu all the very best in everything ahead, especially with his current band Timo Rautiainen & Trio Niskalaukaus.
All previously announced shows will go ahead as planned. For the upcoming gigs, drums will be handled by Teppo Ristola (Where’s My Bible, Paara) as a fill-in drummer, who already joined us on stage at our recent Helsinki show.
Thank you for the continued support. See you at the shows!
