The charismatic fantasy metal heroes Angus McSix are currently on tour with the major dwarves of metal, Wind Rose, and German powerhouse Orden Ogan, and together they are steadily captivating audiences with their unique blend of melodic storytelling and thunderous stage presence. Chaoszine had a chance to catch Angus McSix‘s(and Orden Ogan‘s) Sebastian Seeb Levermann on tour and talked about performing in two bands, line-up and lore changes and, of course, the new album, that will come out in the year 2026.
So, you are a member of two out of three bands which perform on this tour, is it a challenge to go on stage twice every night?
Seeb: It would be too hard if I played for both bands at the same time. That’s why my good friend Rafa takes over guitar for the Saviolone character when I’m busy. We tried this earlier in the year, and honestly, if you wear that mask for an hour, you can’t immediately jump into an Orden Ogan headlining set. This was the only solution.
Okay, and how’s the tour been in general? Is it filled with adventures, or is it a smooth ride?

Seeb: You know, it’s very relaxed and professional. Wind Rose and their crew are amazing, everyone knows their place. We just set up, play, shower, and roll on. Compared to the chaotic early days of Orden Ogan, this smooth ride is a blessing, I’d prefer it a hundred times to some adventures we don’ ask for.
Indeed! So, obviously, both Orden Ogan and Angus McSix are known for heavy stage production, has it ever been an issue on tour, as long as all three bands, actually, are all about scenery, costumes and theatrics live.

Seeb: Since Angus McSix is technically my second band, we share all the technical equipment. Even Sam, the new singer, literally hands me his microphone before I go on stage with Orden Ogan. We just load a new scene on the mixing desk and go. The crew is top-notch — fog machines, pyros, sparklers, all set up without stress.
Angus McSix have experiensed a line-up change, which is a pretty regular situation for most of the bands, yet unlike them you have to rewrite the lore of the band to include new band members there. Is it a challenge, or does it make the changes come easier, actually?
Seeb: Of course, just replacing Thomas Winkler as Angus wouldn’t have worked. So, we introduced a new character — his brother, Adam McSix, who is now searching for Angus. But from the beginning, we wanted this to be like a Masters of the Universe action-hero concept. Different characters can step in, and the band becomes a universe of heroes. We have added a new “dwarf” guitarist, and, actually, more characters are on the way. As for Sam, new voice of the band, he comes from the Swedish band Manimal, who supported Orden Ogan back in 2016. He nailed it every night. His lower register sounds like Dio, and his highs are between Ripper Owens and Halford. I used to watch him and think, ‘Damn, he sings better than me!’ Plus, he’s humble and down-to-earth — essential qualities when you live on a bus together.
Does Angus McSix exist outside the lore and costumes? In plain words – if you had to perform in jeans and t-shirts would it be the same? Would you feel comfortable?
Seeb: Oh well…Yeah, in case something happens to our luggage during a flight…Actually, that’s a good question. Honestly, it depends on the show, very hard to say. But, put Rammstein on stage with only acoustic guitars and no fire — it’s interesting, but not the same. The spectacle is part of the experience, for us it’s absolutely the same.
You seem to fully embrace number 6 as the main concept of the band. But can you call it your lucky number?

Seeb: Not really, you know, I’m a very pragmatic person and do not believe in lucky numbers and stuff like that.
Yeah, hovever your next album coincidentally comes out in 2026, and I’m aware you cannot give away much, yet what should we expect? Any surprises to hint on?
Seeb: The new record will be called “Angus McSix and the All-Seeing Astral Eye”. It continues the story, with Adam building the device to find Angus. We’ll have some guest appearances fans won’t expect, and after this album it gets even crazier. We already have plans beyond it.
Very intriguing! The last question is – what would be your message for the fans?

Seeb: Without the fans, we’d be nothing. We do this with both bands because we love music. It’s not about money — it’s about passion. If you love the music, come to the show, and we’ll have a great party together.
Thank you so much for the chat, and have agreat show!
Seeb: Thank you!
