“System Debaser” by Sybreed is now available in streaming

“System Debaser” from Sybreed‘s impending “Slave Design” reissue is currently available for streaming. Originally intended for “Slave Design”, “System Debaser” was eventually shelved as a demo before receiving a real recording in 2023. With a comprehensive remaster by Jens Bogren, entirely reworked artwork by Erik Kirchner, and—most importantly—two brand-new recordings from 2023—a new take on “Bioactive” and the previously unheard “System Debaser“—Sybreed will revive their 2004 album “Slave Design”. You can pre-order the CD version of “Slave Design”, which will be released on October 4, right here. Later this year, vinyl is expected to be introduced.

I am beyond thrilled to finally reveal the official cover art I designed for Swiss industrial metal band, Sybreed. In celebration of Slave Design’s 20th Anniversary, Drop honored me with the opportunity to reimagine the iconic album’s entire artwork. His only request was for the original cover concept to remain the same and for the new cover to appear modern and void of human features. The interior album art panels illustrate the potentially bleak future of a human civilization enslaved by its own biomechanical creations. Album panels and prints to be revealed upon album release!!
