The new song “Scream” was played by Christian hard rock band Skillet during their show on Thursday, May 14, at Arena 8888 in Sofia, Bulgaria, as per Blabbermouth. Below is a fan-filmed video of the performance.
Maybe what we should do is this. Maybe we should play a new song, not only for the first time, but for the only time on the whole tour. Does that sound good? This song is gonna come out next month. You are the first people in the world to hear it. And I wrote it because the world has gone crazy and people are angry. And it breaks my heart to see what all of us humans do to one another. It makes me wanna pray. It makes me wanna treat people better. It makes me wanna listen more. Maybe not talk so much. I talk a lot. It makes me wanna play rock and roll because rock and roll makes people feel better. But every once in a while, talking about it isn’t enough. Sometimes you just want to scream. – John Cooper
