Sinsaenum summon darkness in new animated lyric video for “Spiritual Lies” ahead of European tour

French blackened death metal force Sinsaenum have released a brand-new lyric video for the song “Spiritual Lies”, bringing more fire from their latest album “In Devastation”.

Visually intense and steeped in apocalyptic imagery, the animated video matches the track’s relentless energy and emotional weight. Musically, “Spiritual Lies” delivers the band’s trademark blend of blast beats, razor-sharp riffing, and blackened atmosphere — a sound that’s become even more potent in this new era of the band.

The video arrives just days before Sinsaenum hit the road for their long-awaited European tour — their first in seven years. The band hinted at the track making it into their setlist, teasing fans with the timing of the release.

The new material continues to carry the emotional aftermath of the passing of founding drummer Joey Jordison in 2021, as well as the personal loss experienced by guitarist Frédéric Leclercq. These moments have shaped “In Devastation” into a heavy, cathartic release — both musically and emotionally.
