As the organisers of the rock cruise “Silja Rock 2026” announce, The Poodles will no longer be on board when “Silja Symphony” sails between Sweden’s capital Stockholm and Finland’s capital Helsinki in early May 2026:
“The Poodles will not be performing at Silja Rock 2026. Due to a series of unfortunate circumstances entirely beyond our control as organisers, we regret to inform you that The Poodles will not be able to perform at Silja Rock 2026. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. However, we are very pleased to present their replacement: ‘En Jäkla Massa Rock’. A supergroup made up of acclaimed Swedish musicians, featuring Christian ‘Kicken’ Lundqvist from The Poodles, Kee Marcello (ex-Europe), Peter London from Crash Diet, Love Magnusson from Dynazty, the powerhouse vocalist Nina Söderquist and last but not least our very own Ellinor Asp, who has lit up the Silja Rock stage for many years. There may even be a guest artist or two, who knows? The band performs a rock repertoire ranging from timeless classics to more modern rock. The project has performed at festivals such as Hasslöfestivalen, amongst others […]. With this, our line-up is now complete and also includes: Dare, Kee Marcello performs Europe, Treat, Alien, Crucified Barbara, Perfect Plan, Darren Wharton’s Renegade, Sir Reg, The Mind Palace, Ozzy the Coverband and Partypatrullen, with DJ Battle Party providing the music for the dance floors. Cabins have been selling fast this year, so be sure to book now to avoid missing this epic rock party on the Baltic Sea, 1–3 May 2026!”
