Serj Tankian releases a new single “Things Unspoken” featuring Bic Runga

This week was the fifth item in the weekly series of song premieres that precede the October 24th release of Serj Tankian‘s new album, “Covers, Collaborations & Collages.” The song “Things Unspoken,” which he co-wrote with New Zealand singer-songwriter Bic Runga, has surfaced online. As reported from theprp, the System of A Down singer shared his thoughts on the collaboration, noting that it has roots that go back decades to a “Ozzfest” run.

‘Things Unspoken” began its roots on a piano at the Watergate Hotel during a moment of limbo at the start of Ozzfest many years ago and bloomed into this duet, in collaboration with Bic about a dozen years ago while she was in LA.
