Hard rock ensemble Saliva has unveiled the official music video for their composition “Rivers.” This piece, dedicated to the late Sam Rivers, bassist of Limp Bizkit, is extracted from Saliva’s most recent album, “Breaking Through,” released in August under Judge & Jury Records. The album “Breaking Through” includes collaborations with Johnny Van Zant of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Trevor McNevan of Thousand Foot Krutch, and Austin John Winkler, the founder and former lead vocalist of Hinder. The collective works embody the concept that healing is a gradual process, achieved incrementally through daily decisions and breakthroughs. Source.
‘Rivers’ was written in honor of my late friend Sam Rivers, who passed away last October. He was a huge inspiration to me, and someone who helped shape my path very early in my career. When I sat down to write this song, I kept coming back to the idea that rivers never truly die; they just keep rolling on. To me, that felt like the perfect metaphor for a life well lived. This song is my way of honoring him, and reminding people that while we may lose someone physically, the legacy they leave behind keeps moving forward, just like a river. – Bobby Amaru
