The ongoing fight between Falling In Reverse vocalist Ronnie Radke and music critic Anthony Fantano just reached his absolute height. Radke filed a defamation suit against Fantano.

This all had it’s beginning as music critic Anthony Fantano posted a video on YouTube titled “This Guy Sucks“, already one year ago. Previously to that Fantano and Radke had some beef on Twitter over Fantano’s review of Falling In Reverse’s “Watch The World Burn“, but now this video by Fantano was taken more under Radke’s consideration as it listed, in detail, a few supposed allegations made against Radke over the years. Radke told Fantano in a few social media posts that he would take legal action if the video would not have been removed. Because the video stayed, now Radke striked back.

According to Rock Feed, who claim to have the legal documents that were filed by Ronnie Radke against Anthony Fantano, the defamation suit was filed three days ago, on August 20th in Los Angeles Superior Court.

The legal defamation suit was filed by Radke because of a few reasons:
Radke’s legal team argues that Fantano’s video went “outside the bounds of permissible commentary and extends well into the realm of actionable innuendo, unfounded rumormongering and outright untruth.”
Rock Feed also posted a video issuing the lawsuit. According to that video Fantano talked about certain infractions in his video “This Guy Sucks” that were later retracted by the accusers. The lawsuit against Fantano described how Fantano has failed to mention how the accusations he told about in his video, turned out in the end and by this acting “with malice aforethought and/or engaged in fraud, malice and/or oppression” he has done defamation against Radke. The lawsuit also claims that the music website headlines talked about in the video were used by Fantano in a misleading way to back his argument and critic Ronnie Radke.

A case management conference concerning the case has been scheduled for December 18th 2024.
