Queens of the Stone Age, a gold-certified alternative rock band, have released a promotional teaser for their upcoming concert tour in support of their forthcoming album, “Perfecth.” The initial segment of the tour will be announced on October 22nd, with the subsequent segment revealed on November 2nd. The band did not disclose additional information in the teaser video but urged fans to register at qotsa.com for further updates. “Perfecth” is scheduled for release on October 30th as the band’s ninth studio album, featuring a total of nine tracks. Prior to the album’s release, three singles have been issued, with “Where The Goth Girls At?” being the most recent.

Queens of the Stone Age is an American rock ensemble established in Palm Desert, California, in 1996. The formation was initiated by vocalist and guitarist Josh Homme shortly before his return to his native region.

Homme remains the sole consistent member amid various personnel changes. Since 2013, the lineup includes Homme, Troy Van Leeuwen (guitar, lap steel, keyboards, percussion, backing vocals), Michael Shuman (bass, keyboards, backing vocals), Dean Fertita (keyboards, guitar, percussion, backing vocals), and Jon Theodore (drums, percussion).

The band emerged following the disbandment of Homme’s previous group, Kyuss, and was rooted in the regional Palm Desert music scene. Their debut album, self-titled and released in 1998, featured Homme performing all instruments except drums, which were played by Alfredo Hernández, a former Kyuss member.

Bassist Nick Oliveri joined during the tour supporting the album and subsequently became a co-lead vocalist. Additionally, Dave Catching contributed on keyboards, guitar, and lap steel alongside Homme. The band’s second studio album, “Rated R” (2000), included guest vocals by Mark Lanegan and marked their debut with Interscope Records.

It achieved both critical acclaim and commercial success, notably featuring the hit single “The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret.” The third studio album, “Songs for the Deaf” (2002), featured Dave Grohl on drums, with additional contributions from Alain Johannes and Natasha Shneider. Following the departures of Oliveri and Lanegan in 2004 and 2005, respectively, Homme resumed his role as the band’s sole lead vocalist. Van Leeuwen and drummer Joey Castillo collaborated with Homme on the albums “Lullabies to Paralyze”(2005) and “Era Vulgaris” (2007).
