Phil Anselmo’s video message: Pantera shows have “lit and ignited a fuse and a fire in me”

Pantera have released a new video message from singer Philip Anselmo. Filmed during the rehearsals for the band’s February 2024 North American tour, the footage features Anselmo saying:

Youngsters have come out in droves to these Pantera shows, and it has lit and ignited a fuse and a fire in me, and I just wanna play these fucking shows the best fucking way we goddamn know how. And I’m looking forward to it.

The new version of the band — with Pantera‘s remaining members Anselmo (vocals) and Rex Brown (bass), besides guitarist Zakk Wylde and drummer Charlie Benante  — are headlining quite a few festivals across the Americas and Europe, as well as headlining their own concerts. They are also supporting Metallica on a stadium tour in 2024.
