Periphery release official music video for “Everyone Dies Alone”

Fans are welcome to go even further into the upcoming eighth studio album, “A Pale White Dot,” by Djent purveyors Periphery, as per theprp. The official music video for “Everyone Dies Alone,” the second single from that album, comes just in from the band. “A Pale White Dot,” which will be released on May 15th on the band’s own 3DOT Recordings label, was once again directed by Caleb Young, who also oversaw the visuals for the album’s lead single, “Mr. God.” The band recently wrapped up five formal listening events for the album, and in June they want to start touring abroad.

Misha Mansoor, a guitarist, founded Periphery in 2005. He gradually established a presence on the Internet through the Meshuggah and John Petrucci forums, the sevenstring.org discussion boards, and a regularly maintained Soundclick account. Prior to and throughout Periphery‘s involvement in the metal scene, Mansoor established a reputation for producing most of his own audio using a Pod XT and a home computer. Mansoor has been updating Bulb, his side project, and frequently moves music between the two. Mansoor is still working on several additional musical endeavors, such as Of Man Not of MachineHaunted Shores, and Four Seconds Ago.
