Haken have recently returned after a three-year hiatus with a new collection of tracks. Today, the British alternative-progressive metal band presents their new song “bleeding sky.” As with their previous track “in a fever dream,” this new song was co-produced and mixed by George Lever (Loathe, Sleep Token), resulting in one of the most emotionally raw tracks of the band’s career to date. For this track, the band recruited Adam “Nolly” Getgood (Periphery) on drums. Watch the visualizer:

The band also announced a headlining European tour for September and October 2026 just a few days ago; here is their comment:
We’re really excited to bring this music to the stage. We’re putting together a brand-new show and can’t wait to return to Europe to present it.

Haken is an English progressive metal ensemble established in 2007 by multi-instrumentalist Richard Henshall, guitarist Matthew Marshall, and vocalist Ross Jennings. Although the founding members initially conceived the idea of forming the band in 2004, they prioritized developing their instrumental skills and songwriting before proceeding.
