Oli Sykes of Bring Me The Horizon struck in the face by a phone mid-performance

Author Benedetta Baldin - 12.5.2026

Oli Sykes, the lead singer of Bring Me The Horizon, was struck by a phone thrown from the crowd during his performance on May 11, at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri, as per theprp. After the incident, fans have noticed that Sykes seemed a little less excited about the band’s performance and reportedly avoided interacting with the audience as much as he usually does. He did, however, complete the performance. The incident seems to have occurred during “Happy Song,” just four tracks into the set. Sykes loudly questioned “who the f*ck” tossed the phone at him after becoming stuck by it. He then flung the phone off the stage, ostensibly to security.

As one might anticipate, the unfortunate situation has already sparked puns on social media, with “Bring Me The Verizon” emerging as the top choice thus far.
