New wave of bands announced for Epic Fest 2026

Before the heroes of Epic Fest ride off into the summer sunset on vacation, we’re proud to announce three amazing new acts for the 2026 festival.

A true powerhouse — including some epic women — is making its way to Epic Fest 2026, and we can’t wait!

Here’s what awaits you:

Angus McSix (DE)
In an age where darkness claws at the edges of forgotten realms and ancient gods stir beneath shattered moons, a new legend rises in thunder and flame — Angus McSix.

Forged in the fires of power metal and tempered by battles across dimensions, Angus McSix is no mere band — they are the last vanguard of celestial fury. Wielding guitars like rune-blades and vocals carved from the heart of stars, they ride upon a storm of riffs into the heart of chaos.

Clad in armor of light and vengeance, Angus McSix does not perform — they conquer. Each song a spell, each chorus a war cry, each show a battle won in the name of glory.

Now, with a new voice rising like a phoenix from cosmic ash, the saga continues. Stronger. Louder. Eternal.

Seven Spires (US)
On June 21st, 2024, the symphonic storytellers unleashed their fourth studio album, “A Fortress Called Home”, through Frontiers Music srl. This long-awaited successor to 2021’s “Gods of Debauchery” does not merely follow in its footsteps — it carves a new path through storm and sorrow. With a masterful fusion of symphonic grandeur, power metal might, and the fury of the extreme, Seven Spires drags listeners into chasms of despair and lifts them toward celestial heights.

Their journey through the realms of live performance has become legend: a 2023 conquest across North America with Eluveitie and Omnium Gatherum, a European campaign with Twilight Force and Silver Bullet, and a 2022 tour alongside Dragonforce, Firewind, and Visions of Atlantis. The band has stormed the stages of sacred gatherings like 70000 Tons of Metal, Metaldays, ProgPower USA, and Mad With Power Fest — where they delivered a nearly two-hour headlining ritual to a sold-out horde in 2023.

And now… the gates of Epic Fest shall open to welcome them.

The winds from the British Isles carry thunder once more — for the English heavy metal scene is ablaze with new champions, and we at Epic Fest revel in the storm! In recent times, we’ve proudly welcomed rising legends like Battle Born and Fellowship. And now, a new banner rises…

For the first time ever on Danish soil, a new force enters the Epic realm.
