Classic heavy metal group Skid Row is currently working on their long-awaited eighth studio album; the third part of the “United World Rebellion” trilogy has been in the works since 2016, and since then the band has already changed their singer twice.
The forthcoming album will be the first to feature ZP Theart, the former Dragonforce and Tank lead singer.
On Monday, the band’s bassist Rachel Bolan offered a short video update on the status of the album and its possible release date.
“I’m so psyched,” the bassist says in the video. “It’s another step towards the completion of the new Skid Row album, and that makes me happy because I think that it will make you happy too”.
The album can be expected for the spring of 2022:
“We’re looking at spring of 2022 for the release, is what I’m being told — subject to change, of course.”
